Last night, I saw Gaga live for the first time with @sbad12 and my sister at #artRAVElosangeles at #StaplesCenter. Both Steph and I have been waiting years and years to see Gaga and last night was a dream come true. I bought some merchandise - the $65 shirt of her full body and the Swine headband. [[lm.swine]] When we got there, it turned out that our seats were way better than we had expected, and we were in the front row of our section so we had a direct view of the stage (which was beautiful by the way). Gaga was the most amazing performer. I was blown away even though I was already expecting her to sound perfect. I loved when she called us motherfuckers and told us to have a good time or go the fuck home. Even in the huge arena she managed to create a small space where it felt like she could see each and every one of us. My favorite performances were Venus, MANiCURE, Just Dance/Poker Face, Paparazzi, Born This Way, Sexx Dreams, Alejandro, Applause, SWINE, and Gypsy. [[lm.gypsy]] I loved her giggling and little clapping and at one point someone threw something at her and she put her hands on her hips and pouted! She also read this note from a fan in the audience named Paul and spoke to us about the community and little monsters. What I was looking forward to the most were the amazing little speeches she gives in between songs. The ones full of life, inspiration, and love for her little monsters. When she was doing Born This Way at the piano and ripped off her wig, I was in fucking tears. There was also this part during another speech where she said something about how we all spent time getting dressed up and painting each other's faces for the concert and Steph looked at us and smiled because that's exactly what we did before the show. Steph and I both did Applause makeup! [[lm.applause]] I love that woman so much and I'm so glad I got to experience her first hand.
