I want to share an "old" artwork with you. This is the artwork I made in February for the "ARTPOP LYRIC VIDEO" created by the amazing @mrgabrielmarques It was inspired by the verse "A hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with bricks and strings, my ARTPOP could mean anything". Due to ARTPOP is based on art references, specially about Jeff Koons and Botticelli's Venus, I decided to make a hybrid between a seashell bikini-Venus, a mermaid and Koons' Gazing Ball.
