Re: Heroin Addict

I have been a heroin addict for many many years. I now have been off heroin and meth for two years and my life is so much better because of it. My addiction led me to a life of pain, misery, suffering and loss. There is no positive future in it for me. Gaga says that we are born this way. I have a hard time understanding this. Was I born a heroin addict or have I just made some bad choices? I hope @gaga reads this. I am a 53 year old, monster and I LOVE Gaga and her message :)

@jewels12 I work in a service addiction France specialized educator I am and I know the problems of addiction. Have you the courage to take methadone, it would make your life less difficult and it will save your health. if you need to talk do not hesitate to leave me a message in private. there is only you who can decide and I know it is very difficult. I do not judge you because I have my addictions too, Courage my friend monster I am 42 years old and you're still young, you have to stay healthy among us to continue to live .... in a different way can be and this is your way , i hope you undurstand my bad english love !! <3

You know that you are stronger than your addiction. You were born to survive! Don't be afraid, it is okay to lose sometimes, just know that you can always pull yourself back up above the surface. We are so proud of you <3

I'm so happy for you! Nobody is ever born an addict, sometimes in life people make wrong decisions. Both heroin and meth are highly destructive drugs for individuals - not only do they impose a health risk, they destroy your humanity, and as you said, there is no positive future in drugs for you. It's great that you have been motivated to turn your life around, as well as speaking out and setting an example for others. Continue to be strong and be brave @jewels12

i guess there is a reason why u took heroine ...but im very happy that u gave up ..in a same situation was my uncle but unfortunately he died ...:( ...anyway when i saw your photo ..first i thought that u look like Sting !!! :) I hope that u are okay now and take care if yourself ..god bless

What Gaga means with Born This Way is that you decide yourself how you want to be born. :) You can change urself as u like and claim that identity because your decisions and chocies make who u are. That's why she is giving birth to herself during the BTWB, why she hatched out of an egg and so on. She's becoming her better self because thats how she chooses to live. :) So, if you want to be heroine-free (among alot of others thing I am sure), then that's hwo you choose to be: because u were born this way! :D

Im now in heroin and i have to take meth... This is the hardest fight in my Life but i wont give UP. Your post give me hope for me ! I hope i will stop because its just the badest things in my life... [[fist]] :'(
