When we lived in Texas, my brother wanted to get a dog. So when we went out to search for one, we ended up at a small house. The owner had two golden retrievers, and the female, Abbey, just had a litter of puppies. I was terrified of dogs at the time, and Abbey came right up to me let me pet her. I knew then that dogs weren't bad. Abbey was kind and gentle, and her puppies were so cute. That's when Mollie entered our lives. Well, a couple of days ago, Abbey passed away at the age of 12. She was a good dog, and we will always miss her.
