My Thoughts On Gaga's "Cheek to Cheek is the end of my beginning" Quote

I know everyone is freaking out about the rumors of what Gaga MIGHT have said to fans in Chicago. But listen, IF she DID say it, what she meant was her BEGINNING is ending, NOT her. Which means there is more to come. Of course she's going to change and evolve. Every ARTIST does. We've seen it before. She already changed so much in the 6 years we've known her. Personally, I will follow her anywhere. I hope you all do too. She has done so much for us and now she deserves to do something for herself. So if she chooses to take a break for a long time or to change her name or to start making different types of music, SUPPORT HER! She's supported us and now it's time for us to support her. So please don't feel sad. She's not gonna quit making music and Lady Gaga will never die. She may make different styles of music and she may even go by a different name, but she'll always be the person we know and love. However, at some point, we might have to move on. So perfectly put. The sad thing is I feel most monsters truly feel this way, but all the negativity within this fan base seems to take the spotlight. Watching her evolve as an artist is a truly beautiful experience. Her life and all that comes afterwards is ARTPOP. Whatever creative choices she makes are her own decision and we should respect them.

She say good bye to her past. Alot of the songs on artpop is about her past like dope and swine. I think she moving on from her past. Its her way of dealing with her past.

I agree, but I don't think she will stop making pop music that early (see, she have been working with RedOne lately), I think that yes she will move on but I also think she will continue making pop/dance music for the following 5-10 years ;)

I don't feel like or think that she is leaving pop music in itself. She loves doing pop music and she sure wants children but time comes when time comes, it could be tomorrow, it could be in 5 years, you never know. Maybe she is just saying that she felt like she really earned her place in music culture and from now on she can really just do what she wants, she doesn't want to be dependent from the media, the press or any other fucking critics *throwin' shade at perez*. She feels like she is complete in herself. I think Gaga loves the stuff she's doing (pop music, crazy outfits, extraterrestrial things) way too much instead of just throwing it away and go full line jazz and ladylike. In the end, she is ladylike and she is gaga and I don't think she would ever change her name.

What she means is she will still be singing but she will be STEFANI GERMANATTO Lady gaga is not canceling her career, she is becoming a woman if great distances, she will keep doing pop jazz and all that stuff but will also concentrate on her personal life as STEFANI GERMANOTTA Like Marrige,kids,education,acting career and etc she is still defenatley Lady Gaga in our hearts but when Cheek To Cheek is over and we see the last artRAVE, we will all freshen up for a new era of STEFANI GERMANATO

I don't know how to feel. My words aren't whole hearted because we don't know what gaga is up to. But I think if she decides to do jazz then great, she has a beautiful voice for it and that's what she wants to do. However I don't think I'll support her like I have. I fell in love with the blonde plastic pop musician who was so mysterious and her songs slayed. I continued to fall in love with the girl who turned mother monster and saved us with born this way. So why would she want to just forget that and move on? Sure it's what she wants to do and she'll love it, but isn't that a little selfish and unfair to the fans?

I don't think gaga is going to leave pop music forever. she has said in a bunch of interviews that she lives for making pop music.
