OMG! This describes what I feel perfectly! I really hate gender roles and all that stuff, because it only limits us. There is sexism, but it's much less than sexism towards women, just like there's some racism to other races, but much less than racism to African Americans. And it's weird, because sexism toward men is rooted in sexism toward women since being feminine is seen as 'weak'. It's interesting how it works out. As a more feminine guy myself living in a small town, it is sad hearing some of the things people say. I feel bad for men, but worse for women since it's seen as degrading to be feminine. I hope one day, racism, sexism, and homophobia will be stopped!

It is interesting the way in which society chooses to attack men and women. Men can either be the fat comical friend or the guy who gets all the girls ( I mean in media). Men are judged by their masculinity and how many women are around them. The truth is that we will never have complete equality but honestly I do think women have a lot more judgement against them than men but this is a white masculine rich man's world

But the thing is, discrimination against boys generally manifests itself as comparisons to women - the insinuation being that women are inferior. Therefore the greatest way to tackle inequalities and ill feeling between men and women is to demolish misogyny

I think it's still sexism against women. Being a woman, being feminine is considered as bad. I see there's more hatred against men who act in a "feminine" way than against women who are toyboy.
