Thank you for sharing your story with us! It touched me deeply, bringing back memories of my own painful childhood/adolescence with bullying, being overweight and molested. I can tell you today, at the age of 57, with LOTS of help (therapy, 12 step programs-i come from an alcoholic family also, and had my own struggle with prescription pain pills but one day at a time for nearly 27 years i have been clean and sober-the love and friendship i have found in sometimes the unlikeliest places, every thing that happened to me nearly broke me, but i am TODAY, STRONG in all the broken places! Your story is really amazing. It proves what I've always thought: everything has a reason to be. The day you planned killing yourself was magical, as you say, because your life changed completely with those girls who just walked in to your life. I am of the idea that even when the things look horrible, even in the worst situation, we need to look to all the good things it gives us, to be positive and never stop thinking that one day everything will get better and we'll finally be happy. Thanks for sharing your story, and continue being strong the way you've done since then :)
