So I posted a drawing which took me a lot of hours, & it didn't even get 10 likes. This is just an example, idc if you like my drawing or not, I'll still continue to draw. But I want you to know that there's so many monsters here who love to draw but as nobody notice their drawings, they decide to stop drawing cause they think they're not talented. WHEREAS there's still shirtless selfies on the hot page, or people asking if they're sexy or not... I just want to REMIND you that this community is about ART KINDNESS & CREATIVITY ! Not about shirtless boys or stuff like that. So PLEASE support the talented Monsters here cause they are so many. Just leave a comment on their posts, it takes 10sec not more & this comment may be the reason for them to continue to draw. Bring the art back. Thank you, paws up! No hate monsters: I stopped to upload my artworks not because I think that I am not talented bit because no one notice my draws ! No hate,but in this site only some popular talented monsters has so many likes,I mean let some other monsters to be popular to,we should do something about that! I feel like we need to be able to express things, no matter in selfies or in art. Selfies are still expressive. And Gaga posts selfies on here, but nobody is angry about that...I just feel like people are too obsessed with the "liking" system and getting on the hot page when it needs to come naturally. Not everyone's work will get noticed. Remember Gaga wasn't appreciated at first, but she kept going and look where she's at now! You have to be confident and keep going on your work. Not every art piece will be noticed, but if you keep on working, I promise you people will notice sooner or later. I love art and love seeing people be creative on here, but I feel like confining people to only posting this and this will only backfire and lessen creativity.

Well that's true. My artworks have never been noticed until recently...but am gonna continue art, I dont care, I am not up for competition against naked nymphomaniacs.

:C i agree ... shut i making drawings along time ago and nobody is liking , and i deside to make the booklet project , for my album but the theme was . of course our mom and i only have 4 likes and 1 comment .i have . it was more like a artististic proyect ... and nobody likes ,it its like if i post a picture of me half naked and crying iam gonna have 125k likes , that its rude and nasty ...

I really don't care how many likes I get; I upload any art I want because I love sharing my talents and don't give a f**k about what anyone thinks ^^ But I must admit it's very disheartening that art in general is less liked than nudity and "selfies" (I hate this word so much so help me I will punch the wall).

I understand u, and agree with u. I infact have the same, sometimes 'a lot of people' like my artworks and other times almost no one, just a few. But that doesn't mean ur work isn't good or that Monsters don't like what u do, there are lots of different reasons for it. But more importantly, don't let any of that ever make u feel bad about urself and abour what u create. Cuz ur own opinion abour ur work and believing in urself and ur work and loving what u're doing or making is soo much more important than any like. Likes and comments are nice, but ur own passion for art is what matters most. Never stop believing in urself, keep doing what u love. And one day, every dream u had will be reality.

I too believe that ART should be the prominent aspect of LM.com but I also like posting "Whats your Favorite?" Its become a cool thing where I don't just pick random things but can spend hours finding the most challenging, artistic, and fashion forward choices for Monsters to choose from :) But I don't think we have to worry because ART will always be here no matter what. LM.com is just being born, there will be much more to come <3

Based on the group headings, selfies does seem to have a place here along with LGBT, Fashion, Art, and obviously Gaga discussions. I would agree that the like system does concentrate and accumulate like gravity. The more likes, the more you post, the more you contribute the more your name comes up and more likely for your art and posts to show up on the hot page. Almost as if it were rewarding constant contribution. I guess you could go all meta on this and form an artist's guild if you want, where an elitist gang likes anything posted and commented by the others, that way you could run the table with your art even if it wasn't that good. Oh and obviously it goes without saying you'd hit the dislike button on anything any one of you disagrees with or doesn't like. Bully for you.
