Its the context of the video. During interviews, gaga refers to "Do what u want" as a liberating anthem for her mind, body & spirit. This video however does not convey this message as strong or at all. To begin, she is put under anaesthesia & then basically raped by the nurses. She has no control. Now I am more than sure that if Terry Richardson was not the director then the entire composition, theme and message would be a whole lot clearer. So it would have destroyed Gaga & her teams image as well as interscope if she released this video to the public. Leaks have already done this much publicity for all the wrong reasons. So Im glad she was smart and decided not too. I honestly do not think she didnt release it because of a betrayal. It was because of this ^
