The genius behind this song is that the general public and general listeners are going to hear the song as a sexual song. That is exactly why she was promoting it the way she was. We all know it has a deeper meaning, as does she, which is why we got sex loaded performances with the subtle additions of what the song REALLY means. The video is the same way. I dont understand the backlash that it is getting. For one, everyone bitched about wanting the video, and know the majority of us are saying they are glad it wasnt released? Excuse me, no. Lady Gaga would never just sell out to make a shockingly explicit and sexual video for the sake of breaking a record or gaining publicity.
