i made it, i did it.
i made it, i did it.
Well as the days count down, i keep getting closer and closer to my last day of high school. One more final left tomorrow, and then i graduate an Honors student on Saturday. I did it. I remember so vividly my first two years of high school.. probably the worst two years for me, but i got through it no matter how many times i told myself i couldn't and wouldn't be able to. I did it... and so can you. It doesn't just have to be graduating high school, it could be regarding anything. There's always going to be an end to something. Sometimes those things will be positive results, and sometimes they're going to be negative, but there will always be an end. Regardless of how this happens, know that you won't be stuck forever. You won't be surrounded by those people forever. You want be dealing with those difficult times forever. You will get through it, whether you believe it or not. So on Saturday, as i take my steps across that stage, shake both my principal and the cardinal's hands, and receive my diploma, i'm going to tell myself "i made it, i did it." I beat my demons that haunted me these past 4 years, i overcame many battles, and i am learning to overcome new ones every day. I am a stronger, braver, more intelligent person who is ready to face the world and show everyone what i've got and why i'm here. I'm ready to face new challenges and battles. I am ready to overcome obstacles and take those extra steps. I am ready to finally be me and freely embrace who i am. I am ready to go to college, to successfully achieve my major, and live out my dreams and my destiny. Every day will be a new lesson, but i am willing to learn in order to be wiser, smarter, and stronger.
Thank you to all of you who have helped me these last four years, especially a big thank you of course to gaga and also tara. Thank you all for believing in me, for guiding me, and encouraging me to never give up. Thank you for picking me up when i was at my lowest, and showing me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for being there when i was alone. But most importantly, thank you for being you and accepting me for me. You've made me braver, stronger, wiser, and more intelligent. You've helped me realize what i was meant to do in life, why i'm here, and you never gave up on me or my dreams... even when i started to give up on them myself. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys.

This picture was taken about a year ago, and I've lost 20lbs and dyed my hair since. Crazy how time flies.
