So, I have posted these types of pictures on here a number of times, and each time Mother Monster speaks about weight and size issues I feel the need to do so again. Firstly I want to clarify that this post isn't to satisfy my ego at all. I don't post these pictures on this site for people to comment and say how attractive they think I am or how "hot/fit" I look. I post these picture on here because I want to inspire someone. If this post inspires just one person to be happy with what who they are, then I have succeeded. Gaga's post basically says that she is happy with the size that she is and she couldn't give a damn what anybody has to say about it. And I think this is one of the most positive types of messages that she communicates to this fan base. The most important thing in life is to be happy. To be happy with your body and your size, whatever that may be, we are all beautiful. Now the key thing to my body revolution was that I was not happy at the size I was. I used to look in the mirror and absolutely hate what I saw. I could barely take my top off in public and I used to cringe at any picture I saw of myself. It was an absolutely vile illness that was stuck in my head and I couldn't get it out. So I decided to make a change. NOW HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT MY STORY: I DID NOT MAKE A CHANGE TO MY BODY BECAUSE OF WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAID ABOUT ME. I DID NOT MAKE A CHANGE TO MY BODY BECAUSE OF WHAT THE FUCKING MEDIA THINKS IS ATTRACTIVE AND WHAT WE SHOULD LOOK LIKE. I CHANGED MY BODY BECAUSE I WAS NOT HAPPY AND I WANTED TO ACHIEVE HAPPINESS. I WANTED TO ACHIEVE WHAT WE ARE ALL ENTITLED TOO. You can be happy at any size. I just wasn't. So I changed it. Gaga's music and messages have helped me through some pretty dark times on my body revolution journey. And it's difficult for me to articulate the level of gratification I have for that, and i don't think any combination of words is actually able to do it justice. But I just want you all to know, that you should embrace your size. If you are happy with being the size you are, FUCK WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAYS OR THINKS. Your size is a part of you, it does not define you. Be happy, love yourself. If you are not happy, then maybe take a step to become a healthy person in body, mind and spirit.
