Sell my art??

I got this question a lot lately, but i'm so sorry, i don't want to sell my art! and i have a reason for that so that's why i'm posting this. I understand. In 2010 I went to the Monster Ball and had a picture I drew with me (its on my profile) and a fan offered to buy it. Offered 100...then I said no and he offered 175. I thought about it but decided to keep it. I just couldn't let it go..i spent over 50hrs drawing it.

I hve a friend who never sells her originals, but will sell Prints. Which is an idea, if u ever decide to 💖 it's so good, I can c why ppl are interested!

Maybe you can do both. Give some away and sell some so you can get art supplies etc. There is also this program on Ebay where you sell stuff and the money goes to your favorite charity. Either way, just keep doing what you love :)

Your art is amazing keep it don't ever let anyone force u to give it away...that's the reason why I don't post my art on here because in the past I've been told to give it away.its your right to keep your art,and it's special to u and it's hard to do something again like the first time

What a great gift of art to pay it forward and brighten up another little monsters life! That's truly a beautiful thing to do! You're so awesome and your art is beautiful! I'd like a piece for my dressing room someday. Btw my dressing room is a bed room full of all my clothes, a chair, momentos, Gaga stuff, and is painted a deep pink color! Nothing special just a place to hangout!

Hi Laura, i really love your art and i think you're totally right! You should not sell your art but maybe you can do something else, Paint something and and start a competition / game / .. and the winner gets the painting? It's just an idea or something so dont shoot me haha ;) Btw. what kinda paint do you use on your Freezer ? It's not just some 'paint' i guess? Keep up the good work ! Be creative , be yourself ;) <3

I think it's better to start selling your art because that way you can make money. I sell what I paint and on this way I pay the tuition. BUT the paintings that you are very dear leave them in your studio.

it's alright, laura! I think it's really hard to part with the art you did, it's a part of us, like our babies. I mean, it's cool when people sell their art but I can understand everyone who doesn't want to sell their art, so don't worry :)
