What are the best ways to get backstage? Where do I stand in GM? And do gifts/letters easily get you backstage?

Does anybody know how I can possibly get to meet Gaga? She's been my idol ever since I first heard just dance and I've been a little monster for 6 years now and even my mum loves her too. I went the the monster ball in 2010 and I'm finally going to see Gaga again at the artRAVE October 21st in Manchester with my mum. I really really want to meet Gaga to tell her personally how much she means to me and always will and how she's helping me follow my dreams. How early should I go to the venue? I have GA tickets. I am in phoenix though and it is very hot here 107 and sunny. I burn easy I don't want to get heat stroke before the concert!!
