Artpop Zone ARTRAVE Experience
May 4th was the most magical and memorable night of my life.
Me and two of my friends were literally the first fans to go into the Artpop Zone… EVER. It was unreal, I felt like we were on another planet. You’re raised up a bit and you have a perfect view of all the runways and the stage. The piano is a little high up, but it doesn’t even matter cause Gaga looks like a fucking angel descending from the heavens.
We were just hanging out, listening to Lady Starlight and drinking some really delicious Absolut Gaga cocktails when Cynthia and Joe walked in with Taylor (Gaga's Mom, Dad, and BF). Taylor left pretty quickly but Cynthia and Joe stayed with us the whole time. I was next to Cynthia for most of the show and she was so adorable and was dancing and we kept making comments to each other about the show. Can you say bffs? Kidding kidding. There was one moment though when my friend Morgan was crying so I hugged and kissed her and Cynthia noticed so she hugged us too.
EVERYONE in the Artpop Zone was so fucking nice. We all became friends and we were all dancing together and singing and screaming and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Gaga spent a good chunk of time at the piano and on the center runway that was directly in front of us. The whole concert was super fun and super high energy and perfect. One of my favorite moments was when we were singing and acting out Donatella with Cynthia and we pointed at her during the blonde, skinny, and rich part and she just started laughing and dancing with us. Seriously one of the most humble and genuine women I've ever met. I have to say my favorite performance without a doubt was the opening number for Artpop, Venus wins second place. I can't say I disliked a single song/performance though.
After the show we all went backstage and we legit hung out with Gaga for like 20 minutes. We all spoke to her and she let us ask her questions and she would talk to each of us throughout it all and it really felt like just hanging out with a super amazing friend. Anytime that she would look at me in the eye I would doubt the reality of the whole situation. I was so happy and could not stop smiling. She sang Gypsy with us and she said she loved my jacket and she signed it. We all took photos with her and she held my hands and I told her I loved her and she said she loved me too and that I should always wear leather because it looks good on me. Gaga, if you happen to see this all I can say is thank you. You made everyone of my dreams come true and the show was absolutely miraculous.
SORRY I HAD TO WRITE THAT NOVEL BEFORE I FORGOT BECAUSE MY NIGHT WAS FLAWLESS. #artrave #artpopzone #artraveftlauderdale #artraveflorida
