L A D Y G A G A ´ S A R T R A V E T H E A R T P O P B A L L M Y P E R S O N A L R E V I E W Hey guys this is my review of tonight’s first Art rave ball. Now, remember that this is MY opinion, not YOURS. This is why I think of Gaga´s performance and the show itself. Now obviously my opinion, lake yours can change as the show extends to other places, remember this is barely the first show and gaga tends to change things. Also, if you are in disagreement please manifest your opinion in a positive, respectful manner. I know im literally throwing myself into an open fire by doing this review, but there is no need to attack me nor other monsters…anyway lets begin! S E T L I S T: I have to confess that i´m with that group of monsters that were disappointed by the set list…I personally think its ok, but I surly wanted to hear her old jams. Especially after gaga said she would play all her singles plus a few surprises. Given the fact that she omitted “Judas”, “Love Game”, “Mary The Night”, “The Edge Of Glory”, “You and I” and “Dope”, I can easily see why people are disappointed. She didn’t perform her best of all time songs. i really strongly suggest to get rid of cake and replace it with a good old song, also get rid of partynaseous and replace it with a good jam! Also…I really don’t mine, but I find it interesting that she didn’t perform “Dope” considering that it is in the New Album. Over all I think the set list is fine. I don’t like to number but just so you guys get a more concrete idea of what I think of it I would give it a 7/10. O U T F I T S: Now, here is where I think things went wrong. Through the show, I as I except, many little monsters wanted full glam, crazy outfits, innovating art and lots of gaga-clothes. However…we got 8 outfits and to my opinion only three were artistic and innovative, others were perfect and suitable, others were nehhh and one was terrible…the beginning outfit (Artpop) id AMAZING! I loved the huge golden wings, the jeweled tight suit and thekoons ball!!! Perff!!! Now… I think it was a good idea to contine with this outfit until G.U.Y. however I really expected an outfit change before Donatella…I was really expecting her to wear a kind of Versace-like dress and a long Donatella blond wig. This outfit would later on be used for fashion as well…I just find it repetitive to use the same outfit in a whole act…especially if its gaga who is always changing. Now, for the white outfit used in Just Dance, Poker Face and Telephone, I thing it was suitable for the act. It was glamorous and very “fame era”. I think it was ok! For the octopus outfit, this is another artistic innovative piece of work. At first I though it was silver, then I saw the poka dots. Im not gonna lie, at the beginning I thought it was not too “gaga” but too “miley”. Maybe because of the dots…but know I really LIKE IT!!!! It actually reminds me of the fame monster at the monster ball (ironic that she is performing the same song :D) also it reminds me of the living dress and I enjoyed it!. Now for the aura, Sexxx dreams, mary jane Holland and Alejandro: I think this was very gaga. Loved the leather tight pants and bra. They were perfect for dancing. I did wished she had used sort of a more marihuana look for MJH…maybe a leaf head piece (I don’t know you tell me!) we are almost done with this! For Bad Romance, Applause and Swine: ok here is were the fiasco and chaos of fashion erupted. What the hell was that outfit? Sorry guys, but it just look awful and horrible….it even looked uncomfortable. I saw a video of her dancing to applause and it seemed she could barely move…it was just horrendous…(MY opinion, Don’t hate!) of finally, Gypsy!!! OMG this one is a winner! So elegant and beautiful, charming! So perfect and artistic. Loved it. Ok I also would like and im trusting gaga to add more outfits to the show…but I just guess its me considering that the born this way ball had over 13 outfits and this one had only 8… anyway, 5.5/10 Lightning and screening: Ok! This lighting was soooo sick it made the mood sooooo perfect and party like. When gaga said this was going to be a party, she meant it, the lasers, lights and screen videos really created a party mood. I bet people had such a great time dancing like crazy! I really though this show would have poor lightening like the first BTWB, but I was proven wrong when this madness begun!!! I have no words just simply stunning!!! 12/10 L E N T H O F S H O W : I really think the length of the show was excellent for its first concert. I mean, I hear people complaining cuz it was too rushed, but, people it’s the first show! You know gaga! She will make it longer as it extends. She will add more stuff with every show! So don’t be sad if it seems rushed. It will get better!!! 10/10! S T A G E: OK, This stage has been by far the best stage in the whole concert history! If not its head to head with The Born This Way ball!! I really thought that after that five floor moving and changing color castle, gaga could have never top herself, but then again, I was proven wrong! When I saw a picture of the live stage, I though it was very small, but hell no its huge!!! Its also innovative, artistic, and thoughtful! I mean, the reason of the stage being like this is because sweet gaga wanted to interact with us! Its so beautiful and it changes color too!(I love that!) 10/10! WIGS: this were very disappointing...i was hoping to see a lot of the seashell girl wig (rose land wig) and she only used it twice...and changed it for ugly short wigs(i hate short hair on gaga...sorry) the first blond wig at the opening was perfect and suitable...but the others were awful. the aura wig would have work if it wa slinger.. and the bad romance wig left me speechless...it was solo out of place and non gaga. it looked like niki minaj and no lady gaga, horrible....the gypsy one and the venus ones are the best ones V O C A L S Should I even talk about this one? Her voice is impeccable! I know some monsters think she needs to stop using vocal backing because it blocks her real voice, but once you are in the crown you don’t think of that! And her voice will always be amazing! 10/10 Over all, the concert was good! Very good! I mean, great lightning, great videos, screening, good music, it was indeed a party! Yes I would alter the setlist a bit and get rid of some outfits and add a few, but over all, the concert was a success and I don’t know why people say it is rushed and all over the place. It lasted less than a normal show, but again, it is only the first show! I would also like to see PetGa in this ball, maybe a video of her greeting the audience right before the show starts would be cool! Anyway if you are still reading this!
