How do you feel about the general public giving a age limit to whom artists kids like me & you should listen to for their age?

for me i listen to who i want because i free to do so

It’s all just for show, to pretend that they care about children’s manners and morals. Just like these age gates they put on porn and horror websites and they know that everybody’s gonna write an age above 18.

It really depends on the content of the song. You don't really want A 9 year old or how ever young going around singing cake- Rihanna, or let us guide you through new and exciting positions! (G.u.y)! All these artists are fine for everyone it just depends on the language in the song. Or we will have the next generation of 13 years and under singing songs about sex.

I dont think most of you understand that 10 year old girls are already wearing booty shorts and boys are already jerking off by then. Rating dont even matter because music isnt the only thing that influences your kids, his/her friends, tv, movies and internet give a negative influence to a child as well. So I dont know whats the big deal of swearing or talking about sex if sooner or later you would need to talk to them about teenage pregnancy and drugs.

I do find the average age of the fan bases interesting, though. I was thinking about that this past week because I had gone to Roseland as well as Miley's show. Gaga's fanbase seems to generally be an older crowd. Like majority 18-30. At Miley's show there were so many younger fans. Like majority 13-18 I'd say. It just amazes me how that happens.

I never heard of this age limit stuff. Maybe it's not a thing in the US. All I know is that I've been listening to Britney since I was 9 and Eminem since I was 10, and I turned out fine lol

When I was young I didn't understand the lyrics because i'm not english, so who cares if the lyrics are explicit or not ? Its a song and it tell us a story.
