while i like this song, and respect her as an artist, i just feel like everything katy does is dumbed down and i don't feel like she has control over her image. you can see glimpses of her creative vision throughout her videos and music, but i think in general she's become this manufactured, cookie-cutter pop princess with nothing truly groundbreaking or thought provoking to offer as of yet. what i love about gaga is that you can analyze her work and find meaning in it, whether intentional or not. that's what makes her the true warrior queen of pop music.
