i totally bought Katy's, Prism, album when I bought ARTPOP, and personally I LOVE PRISM; It's not the best, but it's alright. Birthday was very catchy, and in a way it reminded me of Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.). ARTPOP, sets my mind free. PRISM, Is like my relaxing album. Both actually set my mind free. Music is Music. Can't go wrong there.

When I first heard it it sounded just like last Friday night, a song from her old album. I think it's probably just the guitar riffs but she should try to step out of her comfort zone and make something different.

Ok this is sorta on topic bit a few days ago I heard on the radio and a girl called in and they asked her who she thinks is making the best music and she said Katy and it just bothered me. I don't expect her to say gaga but there are so many better artists right now like avicii, zedd, Bruno and who elce. Katy just makes stuff to get mainstream. It just doesn't feel like she really cares for her music.

this is the deal with katy... one minute i like her the next i dislike her. the reason why the radio plays her songs constantly. it's like pharrell with happy i liked it til they played it on repeat. then i wanted to get a shotgun and shoot the fucking tv. katy's music is so overplayed. even if the song is not decent. i bought my mum her album... and she hasn't listened to it not even once. i don't think prism is even that good tbh, not shading or hating, fair enough katy has done well but most of her songs are 'radio friendly' so the radio stations get behind it and support the singles she brings out. it's shit
