Tonight was a normal night until I logged onto my computer to see devastating news. A friend I have known through Gaga since 2011 was tragically killed today in a car accident. Stephanie Picher was undoubtedly one of the most amazing and genuine fans and friend I could have hoped to meet in my lifetime. Although we don't leave near each other, as most monster friends do, we would talk on facebook about costumes, life and artraves she was planning on attending. Stephanie was a beautiful soul that didn't have a mean or hurtful bone in her body. It would be impossible to find any experiences we had with her to be negative. She was what this fanbase strives to be; helpful, caring, kind, compassionate. She was exactly what Gaga envisioned when she set out on her mission to change the world. And although I only knew Stephanie for 4 years, I knew how strong she was, and what she did for others made me want to be a better person. Because of her, I want to continue to be kind and nurturing towards others. Inspiring and proud; you left an everlasting imprint on those you met for 15 seconds or 15 years. So proud of what you overcame to get to where you are, we are all looking up to heaven and toasting you this April 14th. I am so sorry I was not able to see you at Roseland, I will regret it for the rest of my life. You will be with me in Pittsburgh in spirit, as that was the first show we were going to see each other at. We have lost a family member today. One that was a shining example of love, truth and positivity. Although this is a sad occasion, let us celebrate and commend Stephanie on a life well lived, and a life that affected many others.
