ART is a big "?" (Question mark) on this website!

I'm pretty sure that if back in the day Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli, Andy Warhol, or any other famous painter, had the technology that we have today they would've used smartphones to make selfies as well. Just because a selfie is easy to take, it's popular, it doesn't mean that it's shit. Most of you are saying that it's only art if somebody else takes the photo, and I disagree. This is my opinion. Art is subjective not objective.

Guys, there are to kinds of art. The art that is meant to be just beautiful and the art that has a deeper meaning. In modern age selfies are not art. Technology has given us that facility, not everyone is an artist. Unless you have a reason, a purpose, a critic or something else that sustain your art. You can read some Danto to know what I'm talking about.

Art is an overrated term. Too much bullshit is labeled art these days whether by fans or singers. And that includes puking.

you just say it art is a BIG question mark on this I desagree with you because art has no definition art could mean ANYTHING and if what you do its art in your mind who are we to tell you that is not,just like you do with your naked pictures for you is art and it may be subjective and for others .is not and is objective so at the end of the day why care of what others do if what you do makes you happy let them.be happy ART has no face but the face of free expression ,

art is undefine, art could mean anything but also is categorize. a selfie will never never be around FINE ART. it could be art for those who are intrigue by the feeling is transmitting but for most of the people art requires extraordinary amount of talent.Art has many categories that we should respect and admire.i can call you photos art and they are but reality a selfie will not compare with the amout of talent that Da vinci did on Mona Lisa(for example). but keep posting your pics. I just desagree that these men will hardly use a camara to make art.

I find people label stuff as "art" on this website such as selfies etc. I kinda disagree that thats art. It is just a pretty picture nothing more. People just want to seem artistic because Gaga is doing so, it's a bit annoying at times.
