My view of BTW era:
A beautiful homage to 80s pop-rock. The album's hard hitting beats made it not only a good dance record, but almost had a warrior-esque theme to it. You created such beautiful imagery, not only in your lyrics, but in your videos, and photo shoots as well that filled us all with an inspiration so pure, that even those who feel like they couldn't draw, dance or sing, pick up their instrument and did it just because. For some people, this record seemed to be just about controversial point of views, but for us Monsters, it was all about the message of self-acceptance and self-empowerment. The rock influences made me feel strong and powerful, while the pop tones made it romantic and soft. Aside from the fact this record was lyrically ingenious, you created an alternate reality for us, where we can be whatever we want to be, and escape the things that make us hate our reality. I could thank you a million times and it still wouldn't be enough. Thank you for writing music, and thank you for being a continuing source of inspiration for us all. @gaga if this post does anything, I hope it at least makes you smile. I love you
