Pretty sure this is not going to make it to the "hot" page, but fuck it, this needs to be said.

I am getting really tired of seeing posts explaining how fed up people are about how Gaga's songs are not making it to number one, or how her videos are not being viewed 100,000,000 times. People, do you honestly think that Gaga gives two fucks about the numbers? This is her passion, her love; she is doing what she loves. Shouldn't we as loyal fans look past the records and numbers? It seems today that we as fans are obligated to achieve a certain expectation for the artist, but me, I don't hold any expectations. Gaga is an artist, a human. Shouldn't we treat her like one? Just saying...

So true. More people are falling for success and not even appreciating the artist anymore. I'll stand by Gaga forever, I haven't stopped loving what she does since I first heard her!

People need to realize that it's hard for artists to create new material. It's boring to stay in the same scope of music. Gaga is changing and evolving to see which types and genres of music she feels comfortable with. Every artist puts out something that doesn't hit well with general audiences. Katy, Justin, Britney and RiRi have all done it. I still like ARTPOP and think it's good. I still have hopes for ACT II to be even better.

exactly. The ARTRAVE was a success, roseland was a success, everything so far is such a success. It`s all fully crowded... we all wanna be part of the tour and go and see it live. I mean, what more are you asking for? Applause is such an amazing and forward video, G.U.Y. just came out and is maybe the freakyest we seen. Maybe the video is not looking freaky, but the story is. Scratch a little deeper everybody! It`s such an epic story which is still starting and creating itself! ARTPOP 4ever <3

I feel the same. I and probably gaga don't care about where on the charts she is or anything. Mind you, I'm sure she is happy when a song or album does well but doesn't care about not doing well, I do think her stuff is better than where is does go especially in Ireland but I don't go on and on. I think we should enjoy it and support gaga. #PawsUp

Success isn't all about numbers. Succeeding in life is being happy and loving what you do... which Gaga does. So she's already successful. Who gives a shit about numbers?? Numbers don't save peoples lives...

i kinda agree with this but i also think that gaga DOES care about numbers a little. If she didnt then why would she keep advitising and promoting her new singles? and doing loads of shows and performances? and remember, if gaga doesnt care about her sales then her label will and the last thing she'd want is to be dropped. but even though this is my personal opinion, i love gaga and will always stand by her. look at the great musicians of all time. john lennon wasnt always no.1, neither was david bowie. they have been through highs and lows in the charts, but legends non the less.

If the music was about the charts back in the day (classical music period), we wouln't have most of the classical pieces today. So stop listening to others and start listening to music. I can't and I never could see the connection between what people say and the actual music. If you like it, that's good. If you don't, move on.

I think people are also forgetting. She has $200,000,000 in the bank. She has enough money to keep making music for the rest of her life. Charts represent money, which Gaga has plenty of. So even if Gaga isn't on the top of the charts she can still afford to keep making whatever music she wants. I think a lot of monsters are scared that if she's not #1 she's going to quit the music industry, which even if she does she will still be making music!
