Please Read for the Sake of All Little Monsters <33

i support every single little monster and i enjoy seeing the reoccurring faces in the hot page, but it just makes me kinda sad because i think i'm giving up even posting on LM. a couple days ago i made a post about my bf surprising me with artrave tickets and i was so ecstatic and exhilarated to share the news with my fellow little monsters. that post literally got two likes. AND yesterday was my birthday and i didn't even say anything because i kinda feel like no one would notice. i'm not whining and i'm not asking for more likes or attention or anything (and i definitely don't deserve to be on the hot page myself lol goodness no). it's not like there's any REAL gravity to getting likes or attention or whatnot on here,, this is just the reality of LM.com. it feels like a popularity contest on here. think of all the talented and beautiful monsters on here who are getting zero recognition for anything they do or how they're feeling etc. etc. it makes me sad. these amazing monsters are probably starting to feel the way i do. think of all the art and creativity that goes by BARELY noticed! endless amounts of ingenuity being brushed aside. and what if they stop posting too. i don't know. but i am going to make it my firm initiative to seek out the "underdogs" amidst this website and give them the attention they deserve. it feels like a fight to be in the hot page clique. like it's this wrestling match to be the homecoming kings and queens of LM.com, and i really don't think that's how gaga would have wanted her fan site to end up. (by the way this venting ended up a little more preachy than i wanted to, but if that's how i feel then that's okay because everyone deserves the right to their own opinions) but anyways, paws up and why not go out of your way today to find some random person and tell them how flippin' righteous they are (: either on LM or in real life. stay slayin', monsters ♥ P.s. I didn't want to attach a picture to this but I've noticed that text only posts generally go by unseen. Which is another reality that should be addressed. This is a great post! I know what you mean, there is definitely an aura of popularity here. I like & comment on anything I see and feel that I'm drawn toward especially the lonely & sad kids here.

Preach it sista! I've given up in the same sense too with the posting & sharing. I remembered when I first created an account on here I was always excited to post & I literally spent hours browsing on the new page C: but like you said it's become a competition for recognition & attention. I feel like it should be more carefree & not so much stress to whether or not the post will get over a thousand likes. That's why ppl do post specific things b/c it's been shown those things will get them to the hot page. Just do/show your ambition & creativity & don't go along with what the general group is doing :) btw I'm diggin your look :3

I agree with you ssoooo much! I post my artistry for music and I barely get anything from other little monsters! I want to spread my love for ART and MUSIC, but I guess it's more about popularity here! I post more on twitter and spam everyone with the link: is it possible if you could check out my new song #Rain & the rest of my music? t.co/... I'd appreciate it! 😁. I hope you enjoy it monsters, and the rest of my music I've created!! Anyways, there needs to be more recognition for artists and musicians on here, not boys with shirtless pics (unless your doing a #bodyrevoulition or #ARTisticNaked) and having many mainstream popculture reference. I want to see fashion, drawings, art, music, paintings, and more in that field. #ARTPOPmessage

Yeah it's really like a lottery sometimes. I've had my work noticed at times and completely unnoticed others. I love finding drawings on posts on the new and personal page! I go to these pages before the hot page! So I completely agree. I'm delighted for your fab surprise with the tickets! And I'm sorry that I haven't noticed. I've my eyes wide now! Lol ;)
