My Story: Fighting Bulimia
My Story: Fighting Bulimia
I've been suffering with Bulimia since October of 2013. This happened after my ex didn't want to be with me anymore. I got this thought in my head "No one is going to love you again because you're fat, gross and ugly" and it kinda just stuck. I have always had insecurities about myself, but never thought about acting upon bulimia. Then, I kinda just did.
It became a habit. I would eat a meal, then regurgitate it. This happened every time I ate.
Then recently, I was brave enough to tell my story on @radioartpop on a segment called "A Piece of Us." If you know, then you would know that ever since Radio ARTPOP, I have changed. I have became brave thru others bravery. Bravery plays a HUGE role in my life. Without bravery, I would still be sitting day by day fighting something that I can't do alone.
I am here to tell anyone facing an eating disorder, BE BRAVE. If you can't tell the whole world, tell a BEST friend. Or someone who you can trust. Because, keeping in is just going to cause thoughts.
I can say, I am doing better. But I can't say that I'm 100% away from Bulimia. I still regurgitate when I eat something not so healthy and I can't help it.
With @gaga in my life and some AWESOME and BRAVE little monsters, I am facing my battle with Bulimia w/ FULL FORCE!
I WILL WIN.
