Do you know the feeling when everyone have a girlfriend or a boyfriend but only you are single because you are gay and nobody can understand you.......
People who judge you for your gender identity or your sexual preference are NOT your friends. Give up on searching for your better halfs, they will come to you. Stay confident in yourself. Shine your beacon, and they will walk toward it.
It gets better, padie97! I am 43 years old now, and I felt just the way you do for many years, but I believed in love, even though some times that was very hard to do. Eventually, I met the best man I could could have ever hoped for, and now we have been together for 15 years and we know we will be together for the rest of our lives! Stay strong and stay true to yourself, and you will find what you want.
Don't look up or chase butterflies; focus on taking care of your beautiful garden with all the love you can and the butterflies will end up appearing. This means that (like Izzy said above), you have to love yourself and learn how to be happy alone before finding someone. We know that we feel alone when we see everyone with someone but don't forget that just because they have someone, it doesn't mean they are happy... and single people, just for being single, doesn't mean they are sad. Focus on doing what you love and being the amazing boy you are and, in the twinkling of an eye, there will be someone who would love to share their life with you. Believe us, we know what we are talking about :) If you need anyone to talk, you can PM us :*
With Love,
