Indian tribes would kill the animals, do a small prayer, bless the animal, and then consume it - most likely painting images of them as well with blood as ink. Just because you're a meat eater doesn't mean you hate animals - I eat it for nutrients that plants themselves can't give me and because I'm not a rich pampered spoiled brat who can afford fancy salads everyday where chicken is cheaper.

Gaga did it for art when she wore the meat dress, he's doing it for art in a painting. It's not as if he manually slaughtered the animal himself - someone else would have purchased the already dead meat and ate it for dinner if he didn't buy it for art - he has no effect on rabbits being killed because someone else will just buy his share.

Well Gaga liked and saw the art behind it so why can't you? Yes it's horrific to see but it's not like she actually killed it or anything.
