My dad said he didn't want me..

Yesterday, I had a football audition for a professional team in the capital city of Sweden, i went through to the top 5 among over 100 picked players.. My dad doesn't want me to be a succesfull football player because he wants me to be a doctor. I am studying medicine in school, so i did what he told me, but yesterday, when i was going to the audition, he told me if i go to the audition, he doesn't want to see me anymore, he wants me to move out.. That he won't see me as his son.. I know that he is angry, but this really hurted me so deeply.. My biggest dream is to be a famous soccer player.. But my dad doesn't want me to be.. And his words hurted me like a sharpen knife.. All i did was crying, he told me that I was crying just because I wanted him to feel sorry.. But that wasn't the case, I just couldnt hold it. Even though later on, he feels sorry for what he did, it will always stay as a scar. I don't know what to do.. Should I start my own life?

and be strong do what you love to do. and then your dad will see what you are doing is good. do what feels right. then you will getting fine. i know it for sure

Aleks , it´s you'r Life , do what you want and not what you dad what , start you'r Life , you have to be happy , i Know it´s really hurting to stop speaking with you'r dad , i did it with my mom , she dont speak with me anymore because she dont love my job , but it´s my Life . Do the same and maybe you'r dad Will come back <3 do everything you want <3 stay strong , be brave , i give you lots of big big big kisses <3

You need to do what you feel is right. You should start your own life. It's much easier doing a job that you love and not one you hate. If you find a job you love you'll never work a day in your life.

In my opinion, and I have said this to all my family, posted it on my FB and Twitter. Everything. I won't change because you dont like what im doing or am. And if I need to eliminate u out of my life as in to forget u as family, friend, etc.. I will. And so should u. Or at least not eliminate him as in take him out of ur life and not see him anymore but do what u want and don't pay attention

tus padres son quienes te dan el dinero, y te dan el sustento de cada día, yo quería ser actor, presentador, farándula, noticias, pero mi madre me quería ver como medico, y ahora estoy fuera de mi país :C estudiando medicina por verla feliz a ella, porque fue ella quien me hizo feliz en la infancia.. :')

Your father just doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. He thinks that being a doctor will give you the most security. But as a mother, I have watched my husband with our son. I can tell you that there is nothing you can do that will make him stop loving you. I suggest you sit down and talk with him. Listen to his side. Go from there. He just doesn't want you to fail. He doesn't realize that it's your decisions ultimately and you will be the one to deal with the results, good or bad. Hope I helped.

Live your life the ay you want to babe. You should of gone to your audition. Just because you want to be a socor player doesn mean you have to give up in school either. Do what makes YOU HAPPY!!! XX

You should follow your dreams and live your own life. It's your life and you make your own decisions. You're not a robot that someone can control. Of course he's your dad and you love him. And besides he only wants the best for you, but you have to make your own journey in this life. You have to make the decisions that makes you happy. Playing soccer is your passion, your ambition, why should you let someone hold you back? Follow your dreams and NEVER let anyone holding you back from your dreams! Good luck Aleksandr! I hope there's going to be a time in your life that you are going to live happy without any struggles. X
