I personally do not understand why people would compare @gaga to Katy. I mean they are two different people in the pop industry. Gaga is actually an artist. I'm sorry but half of the singers now a days do not incorporate sophisticated art that has a valuable meaning like @gaga does. When they compare @gaga and Katy they are basically comparing quality art with music made to fit the charts. Sorry if I offended anyone but that's my opinion. @gaga I want to personally thank you for finally saying what you said. It is so true. There is no comparison between two people because everyone was Born This Way. The funny thing is that right before any of this was said - her <quote>Diss</quote> to katy perry - She had said something along the lines of: "Remember - Every headline you read on the internet is only looking for you to click on their website". What better way to get clicks than by headlining two Mega-Star's names in one sentence. Just like the now: Demi/Gaga bullshit 'Feud". Be the bigger monsters - think before you react.

What she meant was their music, songwriting, production, etc. is separate and unique from one another. Not a diss, or slam, or what have you. No need to tear another artist down to build @gaga up. It's tiring to group females in the same genre together constantly. When's the last time you saw a "Bruno vs. Justin Timberlake" or "Michael Buble vs. Josh Groban" article? Exactly. #ARTPOP

they are two completely different artists, i like lady gaga and katy perry and they are two very different singers, it's like comparing the beatles to the rolling stones or the who. Each singer or band are different and trying to make them out like rivals is stupid. This isn't like the whole "biggie vs. tupac" crap.
