My Facebook has become a thread of hateful backlash over this "puking" SWINE performance. People judge and hate without even knowing anything about why she did it. People can't see her statement? Millie Brown is an artist who drinks coloured milk and throws It up on canvases.....they don't see how it ties into ARTPOP!?! HELLO? Now she's being slammed on the internet for encouraging bulimia....it makes me so sad!! On a side note I do have to say I hope Lady Gaga drops her label and goes with an independent label soon. I really do! It's in her best interest, the pop world with mainstream labels is vicious! Look at amazing acts like ROBYN, GOLDFRAPP, KYE KYE, LYKKE LI, ANNIE, LANA DEL REY, CHROMATICS, THE XX, that do what they want and aren't under the AMERICAN standards for what POP music is and should be on the radio. They all do their own thing.....I am tired of the backlash, the judgement of what POP music should be. I personally get bored of stagnant, mainstream pop music on the radio today it's all the same! I don't feel a connection to them like I do to Lady Gaga. The same thing is said about Ke$ha now too, she doesn't make TIK TOK singles anymore, why would she?! Her new album "WARRIOR" was awesome, but overlooked and classified as a failure. I guess that's why I like artists that i don't hear on the radio as much in Canada and the USA when it comes to pop music, I get tired of hearing all the hate and judgement online, you don't seem to get that as much in the UK, Sweeden ect. American is really mean, let mainstream, predictable artists dominate the radio, it's fine. I listen to what I like or come across on the internet not what's going to sell the most or resonant the most for the masses and what the radio tells me to like. A song that's at #1 for 30 weeks doesn't mean it's an amazing song, it means thats what feeds the masses and makes a ton of money, the longevity and message is normally redundant and fades over time. It's not how many #1's an album has, it's what the music does to people day to day, how it impacts society and fans, the footprint you leave here as Gaga stated. I can also say I would prefer listening to Mary Jane Holland, Swine, ARTPOP, Aura, Venus, Scheiße, Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover, Bloody Mary over and over again than Poker Face, Love Game or Applause. That's just me. I like her artistic integrity, her messages and themes on the albums.THE FAME fans needs to just forget about Lady Gaga and move on, love whoever is on the covers of current magazines. It really is that simple. Wow that was a crazy rant....
