Please be part of my journey! I have always tried to help everyone I can, and I need to share with everyone what that means to me...With the announcing of the reinstatement of the Born Brave Bus tour and the artRave tour set to start, and even a contest to benefit the Born This Way Foundation, I realized that I could be doing more than I am. My name is Molly, I'm almost 24 years old and I'm in the final steps of getting my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapy deals mostly with upper body functions, the way physical therapy deals with walking. However, OTs are unique in that we work with all types of people in all different setting, including mental health patients, and to improve the quality of life for a person and their family. We heal minds and bodies. I, myself, have known depression and bullying and so I understand how important it is to reach out and help those in need. That's what the Born This Way Foundation hopes to do. I'm not looking for fame, recognition, or even a job…all I want is for someone from the Foundation to see this and know that I want to help! I want to collaborate and be a voice in the organization that can truly make a difference, especially since my plan is to work with children with special needs. Basically, I'm a Little Monster AND trained in therapeutic techniques, so I understand many of the things people are facing. If I don't understand, I still care and will always listen and try and learn. I feel like I need to give back to the world because Gaga has given me so much and I want to pay it forward…I have so many ideas about anti-bullying initiatives, self-advocacy, empowerment, and healing. With that said, I am always here if anyone needs to talk. I can't promise an instant response, but I do care about you and I really want to be a part of changing the world, one Monster at a time.
