Those kinds of practices/expressings are the GUIDES to the solutions of what you want to be doing and where you want to be doing it at. Our "FEEDBACK" to the information we process is like the "crossroads" / "X marks the spot" that is the compass that is the HEART ✰☼❤♡ⁿ♫水φ ~:D

I also find that sometimes I want to SEE people or VISUALS of PEOPLE. As in watching videos of people that inspire me personally (for whatever specific reason). Other moments, I'm more SELF-SOUL-RELECTING and want all simplified with only sound. Find what makes you feel better. It's a process. EVERYONE is "clearing" out emotions in this reality currently. The lessons are in the "venting" & the neutral observing that comes after those moments.

And sometimes CHANGING my AUDIO tracks help. So if I am listening to "Love Songs" (or/& songs about relationships or sex) yet it's triggering old memories, I will ponder that and my reactions. Then I change it up once I solve what was triggering me (example trauma from being ditched by my ex lover). I find it's best to FEEL and then TRANSLATE my emotions after the emotions have been "vented" out of me. That's why I go hiking or walking with audios. And if I don't want to think about those things, INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC of songs I don't know the words to. Or if more confident, perhaps COMEDY or BOOKS on audio. Usually exercising, listening or/& creating helps me.

I was feeling that way recently. When I was feeling a little bit better -- like the point of kind of caring -- I started to draw some drawings for my nieces that I'm going to send them. And my cousin's daughter too. So sometimes doing things for somebody with no desire for reciprocation helps me. Or today, I'm going hiking because when I don't move as much I can get more depressed sometimes. Other times, I want to be still and think and write and clear out whatever "ENERGIES" are bothering me. I think some of our generation is waiting for the mindset/heartsets of others to UPDATE out of Industrial Age (slave) thought/feeling to Golden Age (creating) beings. Because I see so much TALENT everywhere & the old infrastructure has to update so we can be doing what we all actually want to.
