parts of it are gorgeous (the metallic statue scene)but my god the rest is so cringey, the light up head piece, the bouncing car, Juicy J... sorry im not a fan at all...if it wasn't for juicy j id really like the song...and my god whats with the jeffrey dahmer shoutout thats discusting

The song says "I'm coming at you like a dark horse". Now she's barely a dark horse in the video. (for anyone who doesn't know, a dark horse is an unexpected factor/someone you don't see coming) She essentially lines up prospective grooms and annihilates them in front of everyone. I don't have a problem with it though. It's quite a spectacle. Beautiful art direction, however, it borders on tacky.

Remember the album is called Prism, which splits light into all the colours, just because dark horse sounds dark, doesnt mean it has to be because its a phrase used to described the unexpected triumphant, and also again prism's themes is all the colours that can make up something so simple. Try chromatography in science then you'll understand

Ok guys stop hating, im not the biggest Katy fan but i enjoyed this video+song. Yes its childish and colourful, but the phrase 'Dark Horse' actually means a secretive person who then surprises everyone. bye.
