First Makeup Tutorial Ever!
First Makeup Tutorial Ever!
I'm so nervous monsters :( I love makeup so much but I'm incredibly scared of creating tutorials on YouTube like so many other brave artists. So I'm starting small! This is a written description of how to create this eye makeup look! Thank you so much for reading <3
Step 1: Take eye primer and dab small dots around the surrounding area of your eye and upper brow. Blend using small circular motions. (In photo Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer+Brightener)
Step 2: Cover your lid in soft light shade like opal, or ivory an outline the shape of the anime wing using a small eyeliner brush and a soft potted eyeliner or crayon stick. Avoid sharp black if you can for this part as its only the outline and you want to be able to easily re-shape and erase if you need to! (In photo Marcelle cream eyeshadow "Wisteria", and Rimmel Scandeleyes eye shadow stick in "Guilty Grey")
Step 3: Using the same eyeliner brush and color from the outline trace the new fold line above your eye in an arch. This helps with the illusion of big eyes! With a liquid liner wand or felt tip marker fill in and define the line you traced in step 2! The area on my eye that has grey coverage closer the the back is actually hindering to the eye opening affect. If you want a truer anime look keep that area all white with just the defining black line, it pops your eye more. (In photo liquid elf eyeliner)
Step 4: Lash time! Using your favorite kawaii lashes apply a full row to your top lid! Using individual lashes apply 4 or 5 on your lower line you curved under the eye. I took a pair of lashes I have worn before and cut them to size. You can also buy them pre cut and in shape for this kind of look with the full top row included.
