I live in New Mexico. We host the worlds largest Native American Pow Wow in the US. You can buy tickets to see their beautiful costumes and dances. LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE. I myself am part native Sioux. This is a celebration of culture and diversity. Is it racist if I wear a poncho with no Mexican blood in me? And truthfully the world does not see sacred costuming of dances. Those spiritual rituals are private. This is not racist. The response is due to too much political correct conditioning. You look amazing and FUN. Remember people have fun.

I like Gina's comment, measured and appropriate. It's so easy to inadvertently offend people I also think we should be able to laugh at ourselves and recognise when people are not being offensive and take their action for what it is. As a gay man I don't get upset when people make fun of gay people if it's meant in good spirit, I view this MonsterStyle in the same way. I'm Native American and am majoring in Native American Studies and I encourage you to learn more about native dress and culture. I think it's awesome that people support native culture, but becoming more informed about the tradition and customs might make you think to support it in a different way. but we know you're just trying to spread love and fashion, monster. we still love you
