I don't think Katy wants to be anyone other than herself. Their music and styles are very different. She calls her fans Katy Cats so maybe they were trying to do like a cat claw. I liked the performance and i dont think Katy is trying to be like Gaga. I just dont have respect for Katy anymore because back in 2010 when Gaga released her Alejandro music video Katy shaded her by tweeting "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke" but now look at last nights performance to Dark Horse.... She is a big Hypocrite to be honest. She has Lost my respect but that still doesnt mean i will disrespect her work as an artist :)

Okay, last I checked, claws out and teeth bared has been a sign of ferocity and no fucks given for a lot longer than Gaga's been using it. I used to do it all the time to wave at my friends or my parents and I still do it now. If Katy wants to be a fierce bitch, then by God, she's entitled to it.

They are two different people. Katy is probably inspired by gaga and that is her way of showing it. That picture is probably for Gaga and thanking her for the inspirations.
