Today on my way to work, I was in a car accident. Now, I live in Minnesota, we currently have a lot of snow. I was driving on the highway, and attempted to slow down. I lost control. I slide sideways on the highway into a ditch. The ditch was full of hard packed snow which caused my car to flip upside down. I slid about 20ft in the snow covered ditch until my car stopped. My passenger side axel broke. Both the front and rear windshields and well as rear windows are completely shattered. My front and rear bumper are gone. I called 911 from my car. I was hanging upside down from my set belt. 2 glorious strangers came to help. After making sure nothing was broken, I flipped on my stomach, unhinged my seatbelt, and crawled through my passenger rear window. I walked away with just a few bumps and bruises. Seat belts save lives everyone. I am only posting this in response of the recent events with Justin Bieber. My case was purely by accident. Vehicles and and the road is not something to mess with. I feel extremely lucky and grateful that I am okay, but I realize that without my seatbelt I could have easily lost my life today. Please be careful monsters. I just want to show you how quickly your life can change in an instant. This was definitely an eye opener.
