Justin's arrest & DUI

Why does nobody on here realise how SERIOUS it is? He was drinking, taking drugs and who knows what else, then got into a car for a reckless drag race. Driving under the influence KILLS. I'm not writing this because he took drugs or drank alcohol; it's because he got into a car after consuming those products. It's not okay to brush his actions off as a "mistake", he's lucky nobody was injured or killed because of his antics. If Justin were not famous, nobody would be defending him. Fame is NOT an excuse for reckless behaviour and fans should realise that driving under the influence can cause serious accidents, taking drugs can have serious consequences, as can alcohol abuse. Would you still support Justin if he had injured or killed your friend, your family member or an innocent passerby? Beliebers, I understand it must be hard to see your favourite artist in distress, we support you as fans, but we do not excuse Justin's behaviour. There are a lot of things we don't know but one thing we do know is this: driving under the influence kills. Every 53 minutes, someone is killed in a DUI crash. Every 90 seconds, someone is injured in a DUI crash. This is entirely PREVENTABLE. It's important that everyone learns from this how DUI is a serious issue that can hurt those you love and care about — both the person behind the wheel and the people outside of the vehicle. Please stop brushing it off as just a "mistake", yes it may have been a wrong decision but it is a CRIME to drive in that condition, and for a good reason too. First of all, I just want to say I respect you for taking the initiative to post this to help others recognize the severity of the situation. Honestly I think a lot of Justin's recent behavioural issues were influenced from others, this arrest particularly. Apparently his father had been partying with him earlier that evening and assisted to block off traffic in order for the race to occur. Yeah, Justin fucked up, but he's still a child (mentally) obviously and wasn't going to learn the right thing until the real world taught it to him, especially if these things about his father are true. Anyways, that's what I had seen on ABC news, so really it could all boil down to how he was brought up by example from his father.

I'm 100% with you. It's not okay to take drugs + drive or drink + drive. and then he wants to resist arrest. Its just terrible of what kind of person would do this.

I completely agree and I dont view this sort of opinion as hate. It's a fact. Quite honestly gaga has a reputation to uphold and as a person who is guiding us it's her job to say "the right thing" but im really glad that monsters can sort of divert from her and have their own opinion. I think monsters who down follow gaga blindly truly know what she is teaching. It's a serious thing and its irresponsible. Putting your own life in danger is one thing, but putting someone elses as well is plan selfish and not right in any way. I stand with gaga that we should support his fans because it is tough for them, but I personally remain apathic towards Justin. He let his fans down and did a bad thing. You bet it is a mistake, and a huge one that shouldn't be take lightly AT ALL.

Justin Beiber is a prick. End of. His arrogance will be the destruction of him. He has no respect for the fans (likes to spit on them) or anyone around him. He doesn't deserve the adoration he gets. No role model is he to the legion of young innocent minds that follow him. He brought everything that is coming his way on himself. The people who surround him (Advisers, PR, Management) want to take a hard long look at themselves also because they are as much to blame. Boy is a joke.

I think this young guy Justin needs help to stop and takes time to thinking about his action. I don't want to judge him because I don't know him very well but i understand the bad feeling of Beliebers

@gemma what happened to justice? Justin is innocent until proven guilty, I'm majoring in criminal justice and its true the court system is the only place that acknowledges the presumption of innocence. People are ready to give a verdict when he hasn't had an official trial. Guys, stop criticizing Justin and his choices, and by the way he blew a .04 which is under .08 which is the limit when consuming alcohol but since he is a minor he's going to get charged with a DUI since it occurred in Miami which is a no tolerance state. Look at the facts before you guys start rambling about Justin @gaga probably doesn't agree with his actions, she just stated to support his fans, not his actions.

What kind of drugs ? do you know ? guys I totally understand your POV but please Paris Hilton Do it Lindsay Lohan to and britney too so please guys stop be judgmental you don't know what is to be a popstar so do I so stop making stuff like that because. yeah he's lucky and it's lucky for him to be arrested so he can understand the consequences of his actions.
