THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE I LOVE YOU MOTHER MONSTER SEE YOU ON MY 21st birthday in NYC 3/30/2014 @ ROSELAND!!!! So, I read a critic review that clearly was written by some asshole who listened to the album once and said at 15 tracks ARTPOP was "too lengthy" && would've sold more copies without MANiCURE, Dope, J&D & ARTPOP itself. 👎 ARE YOU KIDDING ME THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST TRACKS ON THE RECORD, I will give them a pass for saying jewels & drugs didn't belong but is she not allowed to have one black sheep in the bunch?! This album is superb and MANiCURE is one of the hardest hitting rock pop songs @gaga has ever produced. Dope is a ballad of love & lose with the deepest emotion I've heard from mother monster. And ARTPOP is the endless trance anthem that monsters have been WAITING THREE YEARS FOR. This man over at breitbart has zero perspective into this album and makes no rationale for why at a shorter 45 minutes WITHOUT THE TITLE TRACK ARTPOP would've "sold many more copies." News flash ahole, eminems last CD was like 25 tracks, and monsters would pleaded for more if asked whether they wanted a 10 or 20 track record. Just because services like spotify and Internet radio have reduced album sales across the chart doesn't mean gaga is over and putting out too much material or trying to hard, this is HER ARTPOP and it is fantastic and flawed in every way she intended, I will stick with you waiting for PART 2 gaga. Gaga - you are a brilliant writer, and the suggestion to shorten ArtPop is akin to shortening other milestone albums, such as Elton's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Pink Floyd's The Wall, or Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage. ArtPop, like those other classics, stands as a single, coherent thread. It is one of those rare albums that, 20 years from now, we will look back on it with awe and acknolwedge it for the groundbreaker that it is. Now, about those critics. Pay no attention to those little men behind the curtain. You are in good company. This doesn't make any sense... I swear lots of artists do 'club length' remixe's that are like 7/8 minutes per song? Dance music should be long, it allows you to get lost in the music. PLUS, ARTPOP and Dope are the two best songs on the album?! Wha?

I love you Gaga. I support you and your art every day of my life. But I don't understand this sentiment. Everyone has the right to their opinion, that is something which should be appreciated. Granted, at the end of the day, 9 out of 10 critics will be making criticisms that go completely against what YOU, the artist, feels passionate about. But, by and large, these critics are educated and well-spoken people who are simply posting their perspective. And they have every right to, one need not necessarily be an artist to intelligently critique the work of an artist. Ignore them, take it in stride, and soldier on like we know you can.

It seems that not everybody has understood the philosophy of ARTPOP. In my opinion its the only "happy" album of Gaga and this is why it's so special. If some songs aren't radio friendly it doesn't mean that the album floped. Let them say whatever they want. All little monsters apreciate ARTPOP and Gaga's work. It's a real piece of ART something we're not used to. CELEBRATE MUSIC. CELEBRATE ARTPOP

Honestly Born This Way was the funkiest bop ever, so many new and interesting songs but with a dark tone. Than ARTPOP came in like a (dare I say it) ray of light and just opened up with this happy, fun-loving and let-your-hair-down kinda mood which has just been so fun. Fk the critics, if you enjoy the music you enjoy the music. Half the critics aren't even talking about the music, they're just pressed because they thought Gaga would have really fkd up by now but, as all little monsters knew she would, she's risen above it all and is going at it better than ever. So bring on the rest of the ARTPOP era! (p.s. Venus needs more time in the sun. Live performances so far have been dazzling, so I'll just quietly be here praying for its future video :P)

i cant stand it if an album is short if i was a critic id be like "add in another 15 cause this is a great album " and to be honest im sure gaga doesn't give a rats ass about the critics cause all the monsters and little monsters love it and its bringing in new fans

I think It must be painful for Gaga to repeat and repeat again the same thing about ARTPOP concept. She repeats not for us but for the Media and public because they don't understand her artistic process and in a second point she is a strong and smart female and as they are afraid of that they criticize her work Oups sorry my english is "merdique" ;-) Well I'm sad for her but I'm strong enough and brave enough to support her work and please Monsters be brave for her she deserves it Gaga makes me happy with her vision of PopCulture
