Dear @gaga, I love ARTPOP so much and I want to thank you for sharing it with all of us! The song that spoke strongly to me on a spiritual level was Dope. And since the first time I saw you perform it, it has been healing me. And when you sang it live at the YMAs, I was crying there with you. My dad is an alcoholic and my parents divorced ten years ago because of it. He's a good dad and I don't blame him completely. His family has a bad history. But I continue to love and forgive him because why hold on to hate? It is a sickness that will destroy you. I have vowed to never drink alcohol or do any drugs because I choose to liberate myself through sobriety. I have had enough with alcohol. I've dragged my dad to his bed while he was passed out drunk and I pushed him down the street as he staggered back and forth. I was only 12 and 13 when that was happening. I'm 19 now and I still haven't drank anything. With Dope, I have been realizing that I'm not the only person to see alcohol for what it is. In my life, it is a monster.
