Albums are nice and we love them, and we love ARTPOP as a concept album with a cover so iconic it rivals Bowie, but the mainstream wants downloadable singles to be spun in a club, and downloaded all alone, with mass appeal. What got attention this year? WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY!? EDIT: You know what else? You have people like Amanda Palmer using crowdfunding to fund an album. That could be in the futre for Mama monster too. We would all fund it, and she wouldn't need interscope anymore. But its gotta be scary.
