Hey monsters; I think we should make little monster society groups around college campuses or hell in communities-- we could rework the title to make it more universal and less polarizing
(As if this life style isn't cult-y enough! Hahaha)
I think it would do great things a lot for people's self esteem and it would be honestly intellectual enriching-
gaga doesn't have to be the only topic but analyzing lyrics of other artists, performances, artworks, etc and discuss their modern ramifications in global society, pop culture, the economy side of the industry, marketing and tech aspects too.
This world is changing faster and faster with every stroke of creative genius someone brings to the table and every new advent of technology. It's essential to speak about them as they happen and to reflect on what that's means for us as individuals, community members, fans, and consumers-- lets take an active role in history!
Moreover, lets give art and expression in the modern era and in general is just, due appreciation and love. Art in general never gets taken seriously, but modern art-- pop music taking most of the hits-- never gets any of the appreciation it deserves. While I'm not saying every song that graces the pop charts needs psycho-analyzed, some things do deserve attention--- even if some things are just superficial-- why were they made that way and what does that reveal about our culture? Where is music heading etc.
That can be half of this groups goal:
The other half can be true friendship and acceptance. We bond, grow, and share with each other via these discussions but also on a personal level-- clearly we all have ties to gaga-- why? When/how did we become fans- what are your struggles and passions? What songs speak to you mostly? Then we can all goof around and have dance parties.
Sorry even though I like to have a good time and concert going is my life, music and art are two things I could endlessly speak about. I never want to stop learning about them. I feel like these groups could really take off! Part discussion--part group therapy-- part disco rave extravaganza-- part potluck (?) ( I would bring food to mine... Just saying)
What do you guys think?
