Hello, my name is Kyle and I was in a car accident on June 6th 2009. I was with my sister and grandmother. My sister was driving and she over corrected and slammed into a telephone pole. I was behind my grandma and and a piece of the telephone pole went through my grandmas arm and slammed into my jaw. Breaking it, it also flipped my face against the window cutting it all up. I had over 180 stitches and 10 staples in my head. My mouth was also wired shut for 2 months. I decided to go see a plastic surgeon in early 2012 because I was very insecure with the way I looked and I wanted look like my normal self again. Or at least try. So my surgeon seemed very confined the could help me. And he has done such a wonderful job! I couldn't ask for a better plastic surgeon. He did the first operation exactly a year ago and it was to minimize one scar and then yesterday Monday December 23rd he did my second surgery which is called a dermabrasion where he basically sands my face down with a tool. I know my story isn't a horrific or crazy as others and I'm so blessed to still be alive but I just wanted to share to people who have insecurities or have things that make them appear different than others that it gets better. Just remember you know who you are. And if anyone has something to say about it immediately shut them down. No can hurt you for things you can't control.
