(English & French) Sorry if my english is bad. I’m not as good as Helen Green of some other artists, but I’ve tried ! I was very inspired by the painting of Salvador Dali “Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man”. So I created my own version, with the story of Lady Gaga. You can see, in the bottom right corner, the “Lady Gaga era : THE FAME” (I don’t like to say era lol). She is observing the BORN THIS WAY era. This era, suffered a lot by media and general public criticisms. That’s why the Gaga from THE FAME, hiding one of her eyes and we can found the small Stefanie, clinging to the legs of Gaga. We can see that the BORN THIS WAY era has rubbed on ARTPOP era. A drop of blood flows on the ground on the “towel”, which represents ARTPOP. Indeed, the media continue to criticize this era and everything Gaga does. (Lady Gaga is over, she is fat, she is no longer relevant, she is a copy, she is ugly, she can’t dance anymore…) On the one hand, left over the BORN THIS WAY era, there are critics made by the media and the general public who are sometimes horrible and hard. On the other hand, on the right, there is the BORN THIS WAY BALL Castle on the hill. This means that we have created (thanks to Gaga) a place where we can be free. A place of love and freedom, where there is no hate and no critics. STOP THE DRAM START THE MUSIC #SpreadLove. At the top, I represented journalists, media and paparazzi. They observe the evolution of Lady Gaga and they critics her. That’s why I drew the same protection ( a kind of umbrella) on the Dali’s painting. I just added it some PAW UP. So we protect Gaga from this horrible world. (The music industry and the media). Together we can be strong and we can protect Gaga. We can go where we want ! J’ai donc crée ma propre version avec l’histoire de Gaga. Vous pouvez voir en bas à droite la Lady Gaga de l’ère THE FAME observant l’ère de BORN THIS WAY naître. Cette ère, qui à trop souvent souffert des critiques faites par les médias et le grand publique. C’est pourquoi la Gaga de THE FAME se cache un œil et à ses pieds on retrouve la petite Stefanie qui s’accroche aux jambes de Gaga. On peut voir que l’ère BORN THIS WAY a déteint sur l’ère ARTPOP. Une goûte de sang s’écoule sur le drap au sol, qui représente ARTPOP. En effet les médias ne cessent de critiquer cette nouvelle ère et chaque fait et gestes de Gaga. (Lady Gaga est finie, elle est grosse, elle se drogue, elle ne sait plus danser, son album ne se vend pas…). D’une part, à gauche au dessus de l’ère BORN THIS WAY, on retrouve les critiques des médias et du grand public qui sont parfois horribles et dures. D’une autre part, à droite, le château du BORN THIS WAY BALL est sur la colline. Cela veut dire que nous avons pu créer grâce un Gaga un endroit ou l’amour et la paix sont puissant, et ou les critiques sont inexistantes. STOP THE DRAMA START THE MUSIC #SpreadLove En haut de l’image j’ai représenté les journalistes, les medias et les paparazzis. Ils observent l’évolution de Lady Gaga et la critique sans cesse. C’est pourquoi j’ai dessiné la même protection (une sorte de parapluie) que sur la peinture de Dali. J’y ai seulement rajouté des PAWS UP. Nous protégeons Gaga de ce monde horrible qu’est l’industrie de la musique et des médias. Ensemble nous sommes fort et nous pouvons protéger Lady Gaga. Nous pouvons aller ou nous voulons !
