youtube.com/... *NEVER give up, try hard to make your dreams happen and BELIEVE!* I wanted to post this video and put my positive message out there. A while back I was on the verge of giving up music, I was struggling to find a way to make it my living (which I've always wanted), rather than settling...... My mind was telling me that I have to accept that I wouldn't do anything in music and to stop chasing it. I played guitar less and less. The frustration of my need to play, as it is a major release for me, but the reality of things is very difficult to deal with if you have such a 'love' with music, it was my life and music has always been the friend that will never let me down. Sometimes you just need something fresh to bring you back! This is the link with me becoming a Gaga fan and it leading to me being on here. During this time when I was a bit down on music, I went for a ride and borrowed a friends mp3 player (mine I always forgetting to charge the battery :-). I turned it on having no idea what music I was about to hear, and various songs played, but then 'Dance In The Dark' began, though I didn't know who it was at the time. I immediately went back to my friend to find out who this was....I was now a Gaga fan :-) It was like a bolt of lightening, and it seemed to light up the fire inside again, giving me the inspiration that I needed to pick my guitar back up and I started jamming to Gaga's songs and I really enjoyed it. I felt like there was a connection to Gaga, through the music, like she was my friend helping me get back on my feet. Us Gaga fans know what I mean by this :-) I haven't yet found a way to make playing music my living, but what I have found from being here on littlemonsters, is that people should always aspire to achieve their dreams, to keep the faith that perseverance and hard work will eventually pay off. People have said amazing things on here about me playing with Lady Gaga, so with this support, I cannot give up on one of my dreams. To go full circle: I was giving up on music, I found Gaga, I played her music, then if I actually got to play with Gaga! How cool would that be! It's about always having a dream, something that your mind can focus on and I've found that always helps you to get through the worst day.
