'plus size' ..... really, COSMO, really?

Everyone is over-reacting..... In the model world most models are size 0. Why? Because the designers only provide size 0 clothing so it's much easier then having the same shirt in 10 different sizes. She obviously isn't a size 0 so therefore she is referred to as 'plus size' . Learn some facts before you go saying how fucked up the media is. And about this there should be fat models quit with the skinny models. Let's be honest.....not many people want to see a fat girl on the runway, I'm sorry it's not a pretty sight. Also that would be saying that being fat is ok when in reality being fat is unhealthy. When you get older and you're fat you'll end up having much more health problems than someone who is average or skinny. Sorry to be harsh not trying to be mean but it's the truth

From an objective standpoint, she has a larger bone structure than most runway models, it has less to do with her actual weight than her body structure. I know it's messed up but I also can see where they're coming from. Many women that are a healthy weight can considered plus some simply because of their natural body shape. Marilyn Monroe was considered a plus size icon because she was a size 12 (what is now between 6 & 8).

"Plus size" just because she has boobs and hips... It seems that he traditionnal model has to be androgynous. As soon as you have female attributes, you're "plus-sized".
