I've been reading a lot of posts and comments on here and a lot of monsters have been bashing Gaga because either they are annoyed with the delay of the DWUW video, the delay of Cheek to Cheek, or they aren't satisfied with ARTPOP. Think about everything Gaga has given us: 2 world tours, 4 kickass eras, 4 kickass albums, tour dates for a 3rd world tour, too many wonderful music videos to count, and some of the most incredible music I have ever heard in my life. Now that is just talking about the music, think about the intangible things she has given us: confidence, the ability to be who we are without the fear of being judged, love, never ending support, hope, and new friendships. So maybe you wish the DWUW video and Cheek to Cheek would come out now, but they aren't. Gaga literally toured until she broke. Then she rested. Honestly, she has worked her ass off since then, and ESPECIALLY with everything she has given us, monsters need to appreciate her more. This is not all monsters, but give Gaga time to sit back and enjoy her life. Let her spend time with her family and Taylor. Let HER listen to the music and enjoy it. While she's doing this we need to give her the same intangible things she's given us. So maybe you don't like 1 or 2 songs on ARTPOP. This doesn't make you a bad fan, this makes you human. Nobody said you had to agree with everything Gaga has done. Personally I think ARTPOP tells a story and I couldn't love it more. The last four songs are especially telling. Mary Jane Holland: I would be okay if I could just turn to drugs. Dope: I know I have turned to drugs for help but I am stopping for you. Please don't leave me, I need you. Gypsy: I travel everywhere to be with you, and I love it, but sometimes it's difficult to be away from home. Applause: I keep going because I need to know that I can make you happy. It's what I live for. Does this not tell you anything?? Gaga works extremely hard for us and has gotten over addiction for us. She leaves her loved ones for us. So appreciate her and everything she has done. Give that back to her and make her feel like she is supported in her decisions. Be thankful for what she has given us, and give it back to her. Once again this is not all monsters, but it is some. @gaga you will always have our support. We will always love you. Don't listen to the negativity because it will go away. What is important is the 40 million people you have let dream again. You have let them be themselves. You are a friend to us all :) <3
