A few words for Gaga & everyone...
A few words for Gaga & everyone...
@gaga I've arrived home this evening to see a lot of drama and sadness on twitter, and the news that you are feeling upset about the past year. First of all, I've attached a photo that I took in toronto at the monsterball. I never want to see you upset; we always want to see you with this gorgeous smile on your face. I know I can't prevent this because of some of the people in this fanbase/ the world. I became a fan of gaga in 2009 when I won tickets to the 2009 MMVA's, and went in order to see Taylor Lautner. However, after seeing a woman set her boobs on fire live I had a change of tune. I've always loved gaga even when I had no idea who she was. Throughout these past 5 years, 1/4 of my life, I have come to find that not only does this woman produce amazing music, but she is an amazing woman, even when there are no cameras around. Contrary to popular belief, she is not a thing to be harassed and bullied because she's famous. She is a genuinely real down to earth person who cares deeply about her fans, friends and family. I have had the pleasure of being able to meet her, and every single time, save for a few moments of her wanting not to be seen, she has stopped. At 1am in new york city, when she had been rehearsing for HOURS, she stopped and took pictures, signed and gave love to every single fan there. At 3am in detroit, where I met Marc for the first time, she climbed out of her car window to meet the 4 fans who had driven out to see her. And each time, she had nothing to gain from it; she did it out of the pure knowledge that these 2-3 minutes could save someone's life, could give someone the strength or courage to go back to their life which may not be so great. It may be sappy and whatever, but I know that when i take out my little 45c 4x6 photo of the one time I was able to be with her for 30 glorious seconds, it brings me more happiness than any #1 song or record could. Of course I want her to be successful, and of course I want every happiness for her. But have you ever thought that maybe all she wants is for us to be happy, and positive and kind? Of course me & my friends are not completely innocent of kindness 100% of the time. But because she is actively trying to have us all be kind to one another, we're all taking the initiative to try just a little bit harder. If the tour doesn't sell out, then at least I'm happy she's going on tour for the people who want to go. I'll work my hours at work, so I can buy a ticket to be in her presence for a few hours. Because although I love the music and will support what she does even though I may not like something, or something might be a tad late, I'm there for the woman that has saved many of my friends who have told me they would not be here without her. I would not have friends around the world and I would not be on the same career path as I am without her. Everyone just needs to take a chill pill and just think about what your tweets or posts mean when you post them. Is calling someone fat or complaining about a video not being on time really constructive? She sees our tweets. She knows what's going on. And she's sad about it. Please help her smile again, because it's one of the most gorgeous and life saving smiles out there. #gaga #ladygaga #PromoteOnlineKindness #smile #bekind
