Nudity is fine, but it is not automatically art. Don’t use the excuse “Gaga does it” to explain the excess of shirtless and near-nude selfies on this site. I don’t care if you feel the need to gain attention for your body or if you want to defend someone’s right to do so. They have every right. Is it why I visit this site – no, not in the slightest. But they can post what they want. I don’t care. Just do not elevate those types of posts to the same level of nudity in art. Gaga isn’t just stripping down in front of a mirror with her iPhone in order to get likes. She and her collaborators are creating art. They are not the same thing. Don’t pretend they are.
