All of you but few were not even born when this tragedy occurred. I was in school when the "loud speakers" announced that our President had been assassinated. Even as a young child, I began to cry with much despair. I was embarrassed that one of my cities in my state was where the accident occurred. Why did he have to die? We will never have a definitive answer with the multitude of variables involved in this heinous crime. It was truly an evil act. The Dallas Love Field airport that he arrived and then took his body to Washington has many artworks attesting to the sorrow and sympathy of our loss and that of his family and friends.
